bugs……..in 110mb.com

Updated 27 Nov 4:13am Sydney Time (scroll down for news)

Current bugs undergoing fixing: (Please do not make posts on forum about these issues as we’re already aware of them.)

Bug 1: Logging into FTP and using it for file/folder activity is nearly impossible 70% of the time. It’s slow and disconnects a lot. Meanwhile use the File Manager.
Status: This is not a bug. It’s only hard to get into FTP during busy times. If can’t login, retry 1-5 hours later.

Bug 2: Some PHP pages show blank screen when accessed in browser.
Status: Not started.

Bug 3: Some PHP MySQL based scripts show 502 Error (IE: “The proxy server received an invalid response….”) when you access the page. But on refresh, it shows properly.
Status: Not started.

Bug 4: Every once in a while MySQL based scripts become either inaccessible or become very slow. Sometimes takes 10-15 secs to load a forum or CMS.
Status: FIXED but under Beta Stage. (Update 25 Nov) Still happens but only about 5-8 hours each day during peak traffic times. Still coming up with alternative solutions.

Bug 5: Members can’t install SMF forum (IE: “This installer was unable to find the installer’s language file or files.”), unless their account is set to Safe Mode OFF. They also can’t install MODS.
Status: Not started.

Bug 6: Some ZIP unextracted folders can’t be CHMODed through FTP.
Status: Not started.

Bug 7: Awstats (site statistics) doesn’t work in members control panel.
Status: Not started.

Bug 8: Members eventually get a blank screen when wanting to delete a folder with lots of files in it, through File Manager.
Status: Not started.
News: (What’s up doc?)

1. An upgrade plan will soon be introduced. It’ll allow 60GB monthly bandwidth, 5GB space, and many other features which won’t be talked about yet.

2. A Fantastico type of script is soon to be installed. So you pick which script you want installed from this list. Click “Submit” and it gets installed in seconds. You do nothing. This version will have most scripts as covered in: opensourcecms.com.

3. Plans are underway to migrate primary server to top of the range one. All you need to know here is that everything should be at least 10x faster.

4. Please refer to Forum CALENDAR for approximate dates when Python, Zend, CGI, Perl and other technologies will be installed. Until then you can’t use them.
